Buro Sant en Co works at the intersection of landscape architecture and urban design with a wide portfolio varying from (roof)gardens, streets, squares, parks, city centres, neighbourhoods and whole regions. We translate strong concepts into clear drawings, compelling visuals and buildable details. Due to a growing project portfolio, we are looking for a junior landscape designer to join our ambitious team.

We are a warm team who prioritize good collaboration and high quality. Strong design thinking and careful execution lies at the heart of each project. With us, everyone is allowed to developed their owns strengths and specialisations, which fosters a a dynamic and varied workenvironment.

Practical details:
– Location: The Hague
– Hours: 32–40 hours/week
– Working style: Office based with possibility of 1-2 days working from home
– Start date: As soon as possible

What you’ll do
– Support design work from early concept to detailed elaboration
– Create visualisations, diagrams, technical drawings and presentations
– Collaborate closely in a small team: short lines, fast iterations, high quality standards
– Learn through feedback rounds and coaching by senior designers
– Work across diverse projects, offering a lot of learning in a short time
– Room to find out what type of designer you are, by working on different scales and phases.

Who you are
– Have a master’s degree in landscape architecture/urban design
– Can show strong design thinking and graphic skills
– Experienced with a relevant set of tools (Adobe CC, Rhino, AutoCad, Lumion)
– Communicate clearly, work well in a team, and stay curious
– Work comfortably in English; Dutch is a plus
